Since 1994, 17 different types have been featured throughout Pokemon games. Two were a little late to the party, but you get our drift here. Each type has seen advantages and disadvantages come and go, and with the even more recent split between physical and special moves, we've seen even more complexities added into the strategies of the game.
No longer is Pokemon a cute and cuddly kids game where you have your animal fight the opponents' until one faints. Pokemon has become a strategical and intellectual contest with a cute forefront. We've come to understand this. We also understand that players of the game, both new and old, need the right information to be successful. We're committed to providing you with the tools to win, and the tools to take advantage of things your opponent won't know existed.
One by one we will be covering each Pokemon type and taking a closer look into their tendencies, their usage, moves, abilities, strengths and weaknesses, overall potential, and some of our favorites.
