Chrono! From the game Chrono Trigger! Chrono Trigger was a role playing game released for the Super Nintendo in 1995. Since then, the game has become a cult classic among fans! When the game was first released it was considered one of the greatest RPG games of all time! Even in today's standards it is one of the greatest! It was way ahead of it's time in both graphics and game play. It was such a great game that they remade it for the Nintendo DS a few years ago.
Chrono is the protagonist of the game. He is just like any other star back in the day, in which he never speaks. Chrono lived in the village of Truce in the year 12,000 B.C. When Chrono goes to a fair to visit his friend Marle, she gets kidnapped and Chrono has to go back in time to find her! Chrono eventually sacrifices himself to save his friends, which results in his death. However with time travel, the player can use a copy of Chrono (which was created form the Millennial Fair in 1,000 A.D.) to go back in time and to save his past self from dying.
Chrono uses a katana as his weapon. He also develops lighting magical powers!
Part 3: A suggested game/story to make the character more popular.
Obviously, all they need to do to make Chrono more popular is to create another Chrono Trigger game. Make another epic tale starring the character of Chrono that will again cause him to use time travel. This game was so popular when it first released but in the years in toned down. For some reason, people have never heard of Chrono Trigger! That is a disgrace! Such an amazing and legendary game has been forgotten! Nintendo, make a new game (not a remake) and release it for the 3DS and the Wii U! Advertise the character and the game like crazy and include him in Super Smash Bros. Chrono is too good of a character and a story to forget about! Nintendo, make it happen!
