Cullination Royalty: Crash Bandicoot Part 3

Part 3: A suggested story/game to make them more popular.

Crash Bandicoot has been around the gaming world since 1996.  Since then, he has become very popular.  But eventually everyone starts going down hill.  Crash Bandicoot started going down hill pretty quickly.  He started doing racing games and other stupid games.  To make Crash Bandicoot more popular and to make his "come back" I think there are two different approaches that Sony could take.

1.  Go Back To His Roots

Crash Bandicoot is not the only character that started going down hill.  Sonic The Hedgehog also started going down hill when gaming got too advanced for the speedster.  Sonic started appearing in games that turned him into a wear wolf and another game where he wields a swords.  These kinds of games are interesting but they do not work for a character like Sonic.  So a few years ago, they released a game in which Sonic went back to his old school platforming days.  I guess they finally realized that's when Sonic was at his best.  The game got great reviews by critics and by fans.  So naturally, that's what Crash Bandicoot needs to do.  He needs to stop with these racing games and go back to his old ways.  Go back to  his platforming days and he will shine!

2.  Mario 64 Style

The other option for Crash is to take a chance and see how he plays out the same why Mario did.  Mario was always known to be a plumber in a platform game world.  In Super Mario 64, Nintendo took a huge chance and saw if Mario could survive in the 3-D world.  They took away his platform heritage and see if he could sink or swim.  I believe that Sony should do the same with Crash Bandicoot.  I think that Crash could really succeed in a more 3-D world.  He could stop the evil Cortex and save the day!
