SHORT BIO
I mustache you a question!
Luigi is the younger brother of the famous, Mario.  He has a lot of similarities with his brother, which includes their hat with their initial on it, overalls, and a beautiful mustache.  In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Luigi is a character to choose if you like to spam with attacks.  He is pretty good fighting up close and personal, but when it comes to projectiles, he isn't very strong.

PROS AND CONS
Pros:
Luigi is a very good character with up close combat.  He has a few powerful moves and can easily spam opponents.

His Super Jump Punch (specials chart) really...packs a punch!  It can be a one hit K.O. if used correctly.

Unlike his brother Mario who is balanced in everything, Luigi has a few talents that are above Mario like his speed.

Cons:
Though Luigi is good with up close combat, his projectiles are not very good.  Having only his fireballs as projectiles leaves Luigi vulnerable if he isn't near his opponent.

His final Smash move isn't the greatest.  Causing all sorts of randomness to occur.

It is a little difficult to aim Luigi's fireball move because it doesn't work with gravity.  It also doesn't go very far.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Strengths:
Luigi can easily dodge Samus' charge beam with his great jumping abilities.  Up close fighting, Luigi is also quicker and more powerful than she is too.
Luigi is also more powerful than Mr. Game & Watch.  Though Game can also spam his opponent, Luigi is quicker at doing so.  Just watch out for Game's hammer attack.  This goes the same for Pokemon Trainer's Ivysaur and Charizard.  Just watch out for Squirtle because they are almost equal.  Luigi is also more powerful and quicker than Peach, Bowser, King Dedede, Wolf, and Ness.

Weaknesses:
Because of Luigi's horrible projectiles, he has a huge disadvantage against Link and Toon Link.  Even up close both Links are even more powerful than Luigi.

Fox and Falco are quicker than Luigi plus they are also very good at spamming their enemies.  Even if they are at a distance, they have better projectiles with their laser guns and can do extra damage to Luigi.

Marth has a longer reach than Luigi does with his sword.  Though that shouldn't be too much trouble because Luigi is quicker, it is a problem.  This is because with Marth's moves he pushes his enemies which means that when Luigi tries to come up to him after getting pushed by Marth's sword, he gets pushed again.

Zelda has a better projectile move and can even dodge most of Luigi's moves with her deflector move.

Meta Knight is quicker and better in the air than Luigi.  This also goes for Pit.  Pit is also better at projectiles than Luigi is.

Ness and Lucas has a better projectile move and can control it.  They are also more powerful than Luigi is up close.

TIPS
Use Luigi's Slap Attack (smash chart) frequently when your enemy is getting all up in your grill... yo!

Luigi is a good character if you want to annoy your opponents and spam them!

Just keep attacking!  Don't stop (me now).  With Luigi's speed and easily to spam moves, it would make any one have difficulty to hit him!  Keep pressing those buttons!

Learn how to do Luigi's Super Jump Punch.  It is almost an instant KO.  However, if you miss it leaves Luigi very vulnerable to his opponents!  Master the Super Jump Punch, young grasshopper!

  1. Luigi is by far my Smash Bros. character of choice. His Final Smash may be random, and not as strong as say, End of Day, but it usually helps KO at least one other person!
